Finally, thanks to my constant effort on getting promoted at the end of 2007, they decided to raise my salary by a quarter. However, I haven't enjoyed from it.
January. I was one of those who had to buy a set of suit from a famous suit make, with the company's tiny help of RMB 500. So "wage minus insurance plus transportation benefit minus cost on the suit" equals----I owed my boss 500! .......all right, it's I myself that decided to buy that suit.
February. I took a leave of 15 days and spent them in London. Till today, I was told that we had the rules saying that "with 15 days off or more, one should pay for the part of social insurance which should be paid by the employer" as well as my own part, which means I need to pay the whole insurance, instead of just a quarter of that. In this case, I didn't make enough money at the first half of February before I left to pay for that big piece of SH*T----Again, I owed my boss about 120...Now I just found out how much money they paid for my insurance as my employer.
Compared to the £2500 pounds we've spent in London, all of it was just a small amount. What annoys me is that some of the rules are absolutely unreasonable or even against the law. As I'm planning to quit in April or May, I don’t wanna cause any trouble or a tense relationship with my boss. But thinking about I just worked for two months for nothing but had to pay the company for letting me work here. How ridiculous and frustrating it is! This is something happening working in Harbin and some other SMALL cities, working like a slave.
Anyway, I’m moving to London where I don’t need to worry about it at all!
